Treble Radio: St. Totteringham Day Comes Again & Previews

May 17th, 2016

Happy St. Totteringham's Day? In what should have been an historic run for Tottenham Hotspur, they still managed to finish below Arsenal on the last day of the season.

Manchester United's season isn't over yet due to a bomb scare that hasn't quite been cleared up. They won't be able to get top four, but they still have the FA Cup to play for.

Newcastle have been relegated, but will they also be out a manager? Everton have said goodbye to Roberto Martinez and who is left out there to replace him? Ronald Koeman?? What sort of managers will we see next season?

The Champions League, Europa League, and FA Cup finals are approaching. How will each team stack up with silverware on the line?

The season's at the end, but we will never run out of premier league stories to discuss.

Treble Radio: Keeping Up With a Crazy Premier League Season

April 13th, 2016
The whole team is back this week, but with an extra special, extra tiny, guest!
We start off this podcast with Tottenham Hotspur's 3-0 bashing of Manchester United. What exactly went wrong for United when it looked like they could grind out a 0-0 draw. How did Spurs change that?
Arsenal are definitely not in the title race anymore, but second, or third, place isn't far off. West Ham definitely didn't pick them apart but are still contenders for fifth or even fourth.
Crystal Palace won their first game of the year! They look safe, but what of their opponents, Norwich? They have a big test coming up next weekend with Sunderland coming to town.
Leicester City have officially qualified for the UEFA Champions League. The Foxes will compete with the best in Europe next season. What does the summer window hold for them?
Speaking of summer, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino hasn't signed his new contract with the club yet. Is this negotiation for a higher payday or with another club?
This week we preview what should be a Europa League spot clash between Everton and Southampton before looking to what should be a title clash Chelsea and Manchester City. This season is an odd one, and we're loving it.

Treble Radio: Post International Break, Match Reviews & Rooney

March 31st, 2016

The lads are back from the international break and ready to rumble.

The Americans were still livid after their national team left them frustrated. Jurgen Klinsmann seems to have killed all of America's soccer buzz.

The crew went on to talk about the English national team's encouraging display in their games against Germany and Netherlands. Is Wayne Rooney going to be dropped and not taken to the Euros? Is he an obvious candidate? Why SHOULD Hodgson pick him as one of his 23 players?

Eric says there is no need for Rooney in the squad as England should move on from their failed past. Listen to the debate.

Eventually, they previewed games.

To get geared up for the Premier League weekend (Liverpool/Spurs, Leicester/Saints, United/Everton) and have a great time, Tune in to Treble Radio. Tweet your thoughts @TrebleRadio

TrebleRadio: Top Four Race Heating up with Arsenal & City Dropping Out?

March 17th, 2016

All three hosts are back this week just in time for Arsenal's Champions League exit. With just the Premier League to focus on, do Arsenal still have a shot at the title or is it a two horse race between Leicester and Tottenham?

Rafa Benitez has been hired at Newcastle, but can he save them from relegation or will his biggest impact on the league be his feud with Big Sam? Speaking of manager feuds, how much entertainment can we get from those alone? How well would a Premier League manager reality show do ratings wise?
The FA Cup magic is strong this season with Crystal Palace, Watford, and Everton already securing spots in the semifinals. Will West Ham or Manchester United grab the final spot?
Things are heating up in the league as the end of the season is approaching.  Everton and Arsenal are facing off this weekend.  Who will come out on top at Goodison Park? Will Chelsea create anything without Diego Costa against Dimitri Payet and West Ham? Benitez has his first Tyne Wear Derby this weekend, but can he help Newcastle to their first victory in over six matches against Sunderland? The Manchester Derby is this Sunday, but it might come down to which team is struggling less.

Treble Radio: Post North London Derby & Newcastle Debacle

March 9th, 2016

Arslan & Eric discussed the result of the North London Derby, the disappointment that Arsenal fans must be feeling and the missed opportunity for Spurs.

Further along, Everton seem to be conceding leads weekly, with former Norwich striker Chris Sutton calling Roberto Martinez "a joke". Are Everton a joke? Is Martinez destined to be sacked this summer?

The highlight of the night has to be Aslan's epic rant on Newcastle's loyal fans and what they have to put up with. Will the possible sacking of Steve McClaren fix anything?

All that and more at TrebleRadio. Tune in.

Treble Radio Premier League Preview 2/1/16

February 1st, 2016

Fresh off an FA Cup weekend, we turn our attention forward to the biggest midweek games in the Premier League this week. But first, transfer update. With the transfer deadline approaching, we look at some of the latest signings and try to make sense of West Brom's refusal to sell Saido Berahino. Will any major signings be made on deadline day? We give our opinions on the January transfer window.

Turning our attention and our (limited) predictive powers to actual football, we look at all the storylines as top of the table Leicester looks for revenge against Liverpool.

Next, Chelsea take on Watford. Can Chelsea continue their recent momentum? Will Eden Hazard finally getting a goal be a boost to his season?

We preview Everton vs Newcastle, as Everton slides down the Premier League table and Newcastle tries to claw their way out of the relegation zone. Will Newcastle's winter signings be enough to keep them up?

Treble Radio: Premier League Weekend Review and Transfer Round-Up

January 19th, 2016

It was a busy weekend in the Premier League. Leicester got back on top alone for a while before Arsenal joined them, continuing their good form.

Chelsea got away with robbery after a late offside goal, sharing a point with Everton.

Liverpool yet again lost points to Manchester United. Did they really deserve the full three points, though?

Further down the table, Swansea successfully battled Watford for a 1-0 result. What's going on at Watford? Will Swansea stay up with the help of their new manager?

January transfer business is in full swing and we take a look at some of the top headlines so far with Mignolet getting an extension at LFC and Charlie Austin coming back to the league with Southampton. And what is going on with Adebayor?

Treble Radio: Arsenal vs Liverpool and United’s Attack Shows Up

January 14th, 2016
This is the best week of soccer/football. FA Cup, midweek league games, and weekend league games. There's so much but of course we have to begin with Arsenal's draw with Liverpool. Which team really dropped points?
Leicester played Tottenham for the second time in three days. If that was any indication of how their FA Cup replay will be in six days, I'm calling in sick to work (maybe not).
Manchester United played attacking football! Will it continue?
We take a brief look at some of the January transfer business, there hasn't been much, look at some headlines and then head to predictions for the weekend.
This week we look ahead to Chelsea vs Everton, Liverpool vs United, and Swansea vs Watford.
