What's up Internet? This week on Last Word SC Radio, Matt Pollard and Joe Hojnacki have a massive Round Table show to talk about a bunch of different things.
First we talk about the new Canadian Premier League. We discuss what this means for the game in Canada and the Canadian National Team. Joe and Matt spitball ideas on other cities and teams that could join the league and how their stadium and schedule could work.
Then we talk about Tacoma FC and the new look MLS 2 teams in the USL. We talk about how this move will help the Seattle Sounders brand and the USL moving forward.
We finish off talking about Toronto FC, the Season Ending Injury List, and predicting for the weekend.

Greetings plebs of the internet! This week on Last Word SC Radio, we go full retro with some MLS history.
In the first segment, we're joined by Kris Landis of Massive Report. Kris stops in to talk about the history of the Trillium Cup. The guys talk about its tin cup origins and a bet between the mayors of the cities. Kris talks about the evolution of the rivalry and it's kind of crazy origins with the fans. We talk about the significance of 2011 and how the rivalry and competition is coming to a head this season. Lastly, Kris gives a prediction on who'll win the cup in 2017.
Then Joe Hojnacki joins to the pod to talk about the expansion plays for Providence Park. The guys talk about what this means for the Timbers and how it could be a model for other MLS clubs in the future. Then the guys open the can of worms that is the MLS Player's Union releaseing salaries for the leagues. They take a few stabs at high value and dead weight contracts. We finish up predicting the full slate of MLS games.

It's here, it's finally here! The 2017 MLS season is upon us fam! Matt Pollard, Joe Hojnacki, and John Bava are here to break it all down.
In the first segment, the guys do a full playoff prediction. We pick who we think is going to make the playoffs and who won't. We talk about why our non-playoff teams will miss out. The guys also give their playoff seeding predicitions. Spoiler alert, FC Dallas and Toronto FC might roll.
In the second segment, the guys talk trophies and individual awards. We talk about the current CONCACAF Champions League taking place. We then pick our Supporter's Shield, U.S. Open Cup, and MLS Cup champions. Then the guys roll through individual awards.
In the Round Table, we make absolute fools of ourselves. We pick serious upsets for the U.S. Open Cup. Matt has Cozmo driving a taco truck around the StubHub Center. Joe has Wayne Rooney coming to MLS in the summer and killing it. And John's got a bold personnel prediction.

Happy Monday MLS Fans! Today on Last Word SC Radio, Matt Pollard and Joe Hojnacki are joined by John Bava to discuss MLS Cup and the MLS Expasion Draft.
The guys do a full review of the Seattle Sounders PK MLS Cup win over Toronto FC. We talk about the halves, how Seattle's defense got it done, and that awesome save by Stefan Frei. The lads talk about Sebastian Giovinco coming out of the game, TFC's future, and Greg Vanney. We've also got post-game audio from Brian Schmetzer, Frie, and Vanney.
Then the guys go through the full MLS Expansion Draft protected roster. Joe goes through his Mock Draft article. The guys pick possible players to go from the teams they cover. They also predict players who they'd pick.

What's up MLS fan? This week on Last Word SC Radio, we're joined by Mitchell Tierney from Waking the Red, Ari Liljenwall from MLSSoccer.com, and John Bava from Last Word on Soccer to break down everything with MLS Cup 2016.
In segment one, we're joined by Mitch to talk all things Toronto FC. He discusses the metioric rise to the front of everyone's minds in Ontario. We discuss Jozy Altidore and Sebastian Giovinco. Mitch gives his take on how TFC could come out a bit more caution to off set what Nicholas Lodiero and Jordan Morris will do. He tried to play weather man, then gives a 2-1 victory prediction for the Reds.
Next we're joined by Ari from MLSSoccer.com. He talks about the roller coaster path the Seattle Sounders FC took getting to MLS Cup. We talk about Seattle's health and how they've prepared for the field and temperature conditions on Saturday. Ari talks about Roman Torres and Chad Marshall and what they'll need to do on set pieces. He talks about Ozzie Alonso meaning everything for the Sounders defense. He also talks about the Lodiero-Morris connection and whether Seattle are a one-dimensional offensively.
In the round table, John jumps on with Matt Pollard and Joe Hojnacki to discuss everything MLS Cup. John is on location. We preview the game tactically and give predictions. The boys finish off the show doing a brief and incomplete preview of the MLS Expansion Draft.

Oh Canada! It's another episode of Last Word SC Radio. Today we're recapping that crazy Eastern Conference second leg between Toronto FC and the Montreal Impact.
Matt Pollard and Joe Hojnacki sit down to talk about Toronto's epic victory over Montreal that takes them to their first MLS Cup Final. Matt argues that this was the greatest two leg MLS playoff series in history. The two talk about the poor defensive efforts by both sides. Joe discusses what Steven Beitashour and Justin Morrow did well and poor. Matt talks about Jozy Altidore going full beast mode.
The two discuss how impactful the substitute players were for both sides and the almost mythical goal Benoit Cheyrou scored. We wrap up MLS Cup Playoff talk by picking out what Montreal needs to do to improve this off-season with their old midfield and Didier Drogba leaving.
Joe wraps everything up with some NASL talk. Apparently some other martkets are looking to jump in to try and save the league for 2017. There's still a group that's fully on team #NASLexit though.

What's up Taco Tuesday fanatics! Today on Last Word SC Radio, Matt Pollard, Joe Hojnacki, and Blayne Riffle are talking all things MLS Cup Conference Finals.
First off, Matt and the boys talk about the Seattle Sounders defeating the Colorado Rapids. We talk about what Seattle has going for them going into the final and what the Rapids need to change and keep in 2017.
Then Matt and Joe ask Blayne about the Montreal Impact's second leg match against Toronto FC. We talk about what the two sides did well and what will change in the second leg. They discuss Toronto's three man back line and the Impact's counter attack. The boys end by making predictions for the match.
Lastly, we discuss the New York Cosmos and their financial issues. We talk about what this means and if this is the NASL as we know it. We also discuss how this affects the USL, the American Soccer landscape, and MLS Expansion.

What's up bretheren of the #KlinsmannOut movement? This week on Last Word SC Radio, we're talking all things MLS Cup Conference Finals and a bunch of news in the Round Table.
In segment one, Matt Pollard and Joe Hojnacki sit down with Dave Clark from Sounder At Heart. They talk about the run Seattle has been on and preview the first leg match against the Colorado Rapids. Dave gives his take on the Sounders attack. He gives a thumbs up to Brian Schmetzer becoming Seattle's new head coach. Lastly, he predicts an emphatic 2-0 victory for Seattle in the first leg.
In the second segment, Matt is joined by Charlie Clarke from Waking the Red. Charlie waxes poetic about Toronto FC dismantalling New York City FC. The two talk about the defense and Drew Moor's impact on the club. Charlie gives an interesting spin on TFC's attack and how Greg Vanney has made the 3-5-2 work. Lastly, he predicts a 1-1 draw in the first leg against the Montreal Impact.
In the round table, Matt almost loses his mind of #MLS2STL maybe becoming a thing. The boys break down everything in Saint Louis FC potentially joining MLS. They then talk about the USMNT's disasterous start in the CONCACAF Hexagonal. Joe is fully on team #KlinsmannOut. Matt tries to play Devil's Advocate. The two talk about how the US will probably be ok.
Matt and Joe then talk about old farts leaving their clubs and Atlanta United FC's new kit. Lastly, the guys talk about pet rocks and predict Tuesday's results.

What's up America? Enough election talk, time to talk about the start of the CONCACAF Hexagonal. This week on Last Word SC Radio, Matt Pollard and Joe Hojnacki are joined by John Bava.
In segment one, the boys sit down and talk about the Eastern Conference Playoff results. We discuss what the Montreal Impact and Toronto FC are doing so well. We break down what went wrong for the New York Red Bulls and New York City FC. The guys discuss what both New York teams need to change in the off season. Spoiler alert: The Red Bulls are in good shape the NYCFC needs some roster massages (defense especially).
In segment two, the guys do the same thing for the Western Conference. We talk about the Seattle Sounders rolling over FC Dallas and why Dallas is going to be just fine. We discuss (breifly) the not exciting LA Galaxy series with the Colorado Rapids. The guys spit ball ideas on what could change for LA in the off season. Matt's got a bunch of ideas (hint: Bastian Schweinsteiger), but there's a lot of uncertainty in Carson, CA right now.
In the Round Table, Matt and Joe question John on what the off season looks like for Columbus Crew. Then the guys dive fully into USA vs. Mexico. We discuss the current state of the U.S. Men's National Team roster and their players. They guys discuss formation and style of play. Lastly, we do predictions.
