What's up Internet? Today on Last Word Soccer Club Radio, Matt Pollard sits down with Johnny Freeston, owner of Harpos FC.
Harpos is an amateur club based out of Boulder, CO. They play in the Colorado Premier League and having been kicking butt in all competitions they play in for years now. Johnny's a former player and has shrewdly operated them for years now. The guys sit down to talk about how one starts an amateur club, run the club, and find players.
Johnny shares the Harpos story, how he became a part of club, and how they're not you're typical [expletive] pub team. We talk about what's next for Harpos as they look to become the next giant slayer of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Johnny also talks about the long term goal for Harpos and where they fit and don't fit in the existing American Soccer landscape.
