Blue City Radio Episode 87: Greg Lalas ( and Rodrigo Marion (NYCFC Academy)

September 14th, 2016

Following the win against DC United, Patrick Vieira gave the NYCFC players a few days off.  It would seem that only a couple of them returned from their hiatus ready.  NYCFC went into Gillette Stadium on Saturday and played one of their worst games in the team’s history.

Luckily for the Blue City Radio listeners two great guests join the show this week and neither is here to discuss #NEvNYC.  First Greg Lalas, a co-founder of Kicking and Screening and Digital Editor for tells us everything we need to know about the 8th Annual Kicking and Screening Filmfest which kicks off tonight, Tuesday, September 13 at 7pm at Scandanavia House.

Following that conversation, Mike interviews NYCFC Youth Technical Director, Rodrigo Marion to get an update on NYCFC’s Academy teams and the other programs NYCFC has in place for youth development.
